Rescue service
The Rescue service provides protection and help in case of fire or other accidents. The Rescue service also strives to prevent such misfortunes. In Borås, the service in run by a federation, common for the six municipalities Bollebygd, Borås, Mark, Svenljunga, Tranemo and Ulricehamn.

Borås - a safe community
Our work to prevent injuries and damage is an important part of the municipality's efforts for public health. This work has been rewarded by the World Health Organization, (WHO), who has appointed Borås a safe community.
